I’ve been tagged by award-winning writer Caroline Green to take part in a writerly questionnaire. Here’s more about Caroline Green…
“Caroline Green is an experienced freelance journalist who has written stories since she was a little girl. Caroline’s stories tend to grow from a particular atmosphere, in the case of Dark Ride, it was the image of a grotty and unloved seaside town in the middle of winter, where a lonely boy sat hunched on a bench, staring out to sea… Caroline lives in North London with her husband, two sporty sons and one very bouncy labrador retriever.”

And now for my turn at the Q&A!
WHAT AM I WORKING ON?
Something new! Something slightly different, I think, but still a novel about teenagers and relationships and maybe a little bit of romance…
HOW DOES MY WORK DIFFER FROM OTHERS IN THE GENRE?
This is the easiest question in the world to answer. The way it differs is… it’s by me! So here’s more about me… I am fascinated by words and the way they fit together, partly because I grew up speaking two different languages, often at the same time, and sometimes in a muddle. I went on to study languages in depth, maybe in an attempt to unravel them in my own mind. I enjoy humour and wordplay in books, and I also like to write about characters who are struggling to find their identity and work out their place in the world.
WHY DO I WRITE WHAT I DO?
See above! I’m always seeking out light-hearted stories that explore “coming-of-age” issues, and I love writing them as much as I love reading them.
